Monthly Meetings

Currently Elevate are planning to resume monthly meetings in Dereham at Wellpsring Family Centre.

The centre has assured us that the latest government restrictions (gatherings of 6 people max) only apply to informal gatherings. The centre has the required risk mitigation to legally allow Elevate’s support group meetings with up to 30 people if they are socially distanced and keep to certain rules.  We will be arranging seating to ensure people from different households maintain the correct distance. In addition to the general distancing guidelines, the following will apply:

Covid-19 - Rules of meeting at WFC (as of 12/9/20)

1-There will be hand sanitizer by the entrances which you must use every time you enter and leave.

2-We will be using just the sofas, and the black plastic chairs (without pads) which are easy to wipe down. The latter are not as comfortable so you may want to bring a cushion or your own chair if you can.

3-Face coverings are highly recommended but not compulsory.  These are more important when moving around.

4-Toilets are a “pinch point” meaning two people can’t pass each other while maintaining the required distance.  There are wipes in the toilets so if you are able please wipe down all surfaces / handles you touch when in the toilets. Please don’t be afraid to ask a volunteer if you aren’t able to do this.

5-As with toilets, the corridor that leads to them is also a pinch point so please be considerate of social distancing there.

6-If you can, bring your own mug for hot drinks or bring your own drink. We will aim to have some disposables on hand or you bring your own if you prefer.

7-If you bring food do not share it round.
